6th Grade
LA: Next week we will be working on pronouns. Each day students will be taking notes on the lesson as well as completing practice exercises. Students will have homework each night to reinforce the grammatical concepts discussed in class.
Reading: Students will be continuing their work on the book trailers. On Thursday, students will be presenting their final products. Also, students will have time in the IMC for book check out at the end of the week.
7th Grade
LA: Next week we will be working on proper uses of pronouns. Students will have homework each night to reinforce the grammatical concepts discussed in class. Some of the homework may include a worksheet, while other homework may include writing applications.
Reading: We will be working on their final Wanderer project. (see attached rubric/explanation) We will be introducing the project on Tuesday and each day, students will be working on completing the various steps in class. Although time will be given to work in class, some students will not finish the steps and will have homework. Please check in with your son/daughter to see where they're at according to their contract. The projects are worth 80 points and due Monday, 3/14.
